DESCRIPTION:Celebrate diversity and join us at the 2024 International Day Against Homophobia\, Biphobia\, and Transphobia (IDAHOBIT) Social Inclusion Forum! Hear inspiring insights into the profound impact of social inclusion for individuals within the LGBTIQA+ community. The forum will feature three guest speakers\, a dynamic panel discussion\, and stalls showcasing local community services operating in this space. We invite all guests to stick around at the end of the event to enjoy some light refreshments and a chance to mingle. Get your ticket here. \n  \nGuest Speakers \n💡 Bella Broadway (she/her) – Connection and Wellbeing Australia \n💡 Stevie Lane (they/them) – Edith Cowan University and Rainbow Futures WA \n💡 Matt Shaw (he/him) – Inclusion Solutions \n  \nPanellist \n💡 Lukasz Krzyzowski (he/him) – Edith Cowan University and previously leading the Rainbow Migrants Project in 2023 \n💡 Kedy Kristal (she/her) – GRAI \n💡 Becca Attwood (they/them) – The Youth Pride Network \n💡 Stephanie Vaughan (she/her) – Author of “Half him\, Half her”. \n  \nThis forum aims to: \n\nProvide a vibrant platform for exploration and discussion on the benefits of social inclusion.\nDeepen understanding of the unique challenges faced by the LGBTIQA+ community.\nFoster intersectional approaches to building inclusive communities.\nInspire fresh ideas and meaningful connections to promote equality and justice.\nEmpower individuals to be proactive allies and champions of inclusion.\n\nThis event is proudly hosted by Inclusion Solutions with support from the City of Canning. \n  \nAccessibility Information: \n\nWheelchair-accessible venue.\nPortable hearing augmentation system available on site.\nAuslan interpreters provided.\nLow sensory/chill-out space available.\nStaff identifiable via name badges.\nAssistance animals welcome.\n\n  \nThis event is open to anyone curious to learn strategies to create truly inclusive environments including individuals\, members of community groups and clubs\, disability\, health\, sport and other community services as well as government agencies. \n#SocialInclusionMatters \n\n \n  \nParking Information: \nParking is available on Hill View Place including ACROD parking bays.
