What’s the opportunity?
We are searching for 2 speakers and 3-4 panellists for a full-day Inclusive Employment Forum being held in Boorloo (Perth) on April 10th, 2025. This in-person opportunity is designed to offer valuable insights into inclusive employment practices. The event will also include employee perspectives and provide interactive activities to enhance networking and learning. Attendees will also have the chance to connect with industry experts committed to improving disability inclusion in the workplace.
This forms part of the GROW WA initiative – a project for everyone who is interested in disability inclusion but is specifically targeting employers, HR Professionals, and management.
Could you be a guest speaker or a panellist?
We are looking for organisations and businesses that can provide a 30-minute presentation detailing strategies, advice, and information on either inclusive recruitment and attraction processes or staff retention strategies, including building cultures of inclusion and belonging.
We’re looking for 3-4 panellists to join a 1.5-hour discussion, where they will respond to tailored questions focused on the processes and practices required to make inclusive employment for people with disability a reality.
All speakers and panellists will be reimbursed for their time and valuable contributions.
Eligibility Criteria
We invite businesses and organisations with the following expertise and experience to apply:
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in inclusive employment practices or disability inclusion.
- Practical experience working with people with disability in the workforce.
- Ability to engage and inspire diverse audiences, with a focus on actionable insights.
- Experience in delivering presentations or participating in panel discussions (preferred but not mandatory).
