Covid-19 and WayFairer Update
Due to the recent ongoing concerns and disruptions of the Covid-19 (Coronavirus), and following advice and direction from various official Government Sources, Inclusion Solutions and the City of Kalamunda have made the decision to postpone the second WayFairer Workshop scheduled for the 22 April, 2020. At this stage, we are planning for the workshop to be held in late June 2020, subject to a more conducive environment. Further communications to come in the coming weeks.
The premise of the WayFairer Project is to connect people who are at-risk of social isolation. It is important to recognise that this is perhaps more important now than ever before. As such, Inclusion Solutions will still be welcoming expressions of interest from local community members, to become involved in the WayFairer Project. Together with the City of Kalamunda, Inclusion Solutions will address each individual application on a case-by-case basis, and do our very best to offer meaningful opportunities of community connections and involvement during this time of physical distancing. We believe strongly that during this time of uncertainty, a sense of belonging and purpose, combined with support from our local community will hold us all in good stead into the future.
