GROW WA – Generating Respectful, Open Workplaces in Western Australia
The Generating Respectful, Open Workplaces in Western Australia (GROW WA) initiative aims to raise awareness and upskill businesses, organisations, and individuals to champion social inclusion in the workplace and create more welcoming and accessible spaces and services for West Australians living with disability.
Businesses and communities across Western Australia increasingly recognise the value of inclusion in the workplace and in service delivery – both from a social and economic perspective. In partnership with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Western Australia (CCIWA), GROW WA provides resources to Local Government Authorities (LGAs), businesses, and organisations of all sizes to embrace diversity.
How it works
Through educational webinars and a full-day Inclusive Employment Forum, the GROW WA project provides local businesses, organisations, LGAs, community groups, and individuals with opportunities to network and develop the necessary skill set to implement inclusive workplace initiatives and deliver accessible services.
Through free and engaging webinars, participants will gain tools and strategies to support the implementation of inclusive workplace practices and accessible services. Topics covered include social inclusion and disability awareness, neurodiversity in the workplace, accessible service delivery and much more.
Our Inclusive Employment Forum provides a platform to connect with like-minded businesses and organisations, fostering learning from forward-thinking experts in inclusive employment practices and service delivery.
Webinars and the full-day Inclusive Employment Forum welcome anyone who wants to explore how diversity can positively impact their workplace and business but are specifically helpful to:
- Senior leaders and managers.
- Employers.
- HR professionals.
- Community groups and organisations.
