Submit Your Expression of Interest: Disability Inclusion Accreditation for Community Sports Clubs

We’re inviting State Sporting Associations and Local Government Areas (LGAs) to be part of the WIN project – an initiative supporting your local sports clubs on their journey towards inclusion and diversity.

Submit an expression of interest (EOI) by Friday, June 6.

What is the WIN project?

Through the WIN project, our goal is to empower community sports clubs to improve their disability inclusion practices through the first-of-its-kind, in-person assessment framework. This is supported by disability inclusion experts, who will provide individualised feedback and guidance along with a library of resources.

Developed and co-designed by people with disability, the WIN project will give participating clubs access to our disability inclusion assessment framework – a step-by-step guide with practical tips on how they can ensure their club is a place where everyone feels welcome, particularly people with disability.

Our Inclusion Consultants will thoroughly assess each participating club and provide expert feedback – guiding sports clubs on their inclusion journey to receive the WIN Tick.

Benefits to sports clubs:

  • Access to guided resources and inclusion frameworks
  • Increase membership base and participation of people with disability
  • Support community members in identifying accessible and disability-friendly sports clubs.

How to apply

Submit an EOI by filling out the form.

Each LGA can nominate between 2-5 clubs. Each SSA can nominate between 2-4 clubs.

This is a completely free program.

The last day to apply is Friday, June 6.
